去年有一件事深深地觸動了我。有一天我感冒了，很嚴重。我嘶啞着嗓子去給學生上課，那天恰巧我穿了件新衣。剛走進教室，國中七年級的學生們就圍了上來大呼小叫地說：“miss zhu beaitiful beaitiful，miss zhu！”我剛張開嘴讓他們安靜下來，突然有個聲音大聲地說：“不要吵了！老師的嗓子啞了！老師的嗓子都啞了！”頓時整個教室安靜了下來，學生們都在自己的座位上端正地坐好，安靜地看着我。
當我張開嘴讓他們跟着我念單詞時又有同學舉手提議：“老師，我們今天學唱英文歌吧！我們能自己跟着磁帶學，那樣你的嗓子會好得快些，媽媽說嗓子啞了要少說話！”多懂事的孩子，只知他們平時愛惹我生氣，不知他們竟也知道關心我！下課了，孩子們硬要把剝好的.橘子塞進我的嘴裏，說：“老師吃了它吧！吃了你的嗓子就會好了！”在那一刻我感受到了三十多顆幼小的心靈對我的撫慰，感受到了他們對我的理解和支持，作爲一名幼兒教師我心甘情願了！
去年十二月，我要教四個班的英語、要忙於迎接期末考試、要爲教師文藝匯演緊張地排練、要爲聖誕節英語晚會準備國中七年級的英語節目。國中生懂的英語比較少，我沒法將臺詞寫下來讓他們自己去背，只能嘴對嘴的一字一詞地教。緊張的排練和不定時的加班幾乎壓垮了我，我真想甩手不幹了。
有一天幾遍排練下來後孩子們已經練得氣喘吁吁了，我說：“你們累了，就早點休息吧！”可是沒有一個孩子離開我，他們圍在我身邊仰着小臉懇切地說：“老師，咱們再練一會兒吧！我們不累！真的，我們不怕累！”看着孩子們汗津津的小臉，我突然感到自己是那麼的軟弱。我說，你們不怕，老師也不怕，咱們一起練。排練結束後，我和孩子們一起笑着鬧着，心裏感受到一種從未有過的輕鬆，我知道是孩子們幫助了我，鼓舞了我。當我在臺下看着他們成功的表演時，淚水再也忍不住地流了下來，作爲一名人民教師愛的奉獻是無盡的。

In my opinion, never stop working for your goal doesn’t mean you must besuccessful. It doesnt even mean that you must achieve your goal, but its veryimportant to keep it in your mind. There are enough unfavorable conditions whichmake our lives difficult, but what important for us is to make efforts towardsyour goal or your dream. If you have given your best for your goal or yourdream, whether you succeed or not, at least you wont leave any regret in yourlife.
Dont give up working for your goal or your dream. If you succeed, you willtaste great joy in your life. If you dont succeed, you wont have regret in yourlife because you have given your best.
Dreams are hard to follow, hold on and there will be tomorrow. You willfind the way with the strength to carry on. Don’t give up.

認識jerry是在兩年前，當時是去報導一場叫做“讓英語不再是我們永遠的痛”的演講會，主講人就是英語奇才jerrydai。說起來也許你不相信，原本是工作原因，想着拍個新聞照片就走人，而jerry在臺上充滿活力、激情四射的演講在開場的10分鐘就引起我極大的共鳴和興趣。結果我不僅聽完了整個演講，在回家的路上竟然還滿腦子想着一定要把自己的英語按照jerry的辦法提高提高。
能將一場如何學好純正英語的演講變得如此生動精彩，想必這個80年代生的小夥子背後一定有很多自己的故事。當天在後臺我就跟jerry說要作他的專訪。可是慚愧啊慚愧，這採訪一拖就是一年。今個暖冬的第一場大雪後，我們終於約定了採訪時間，有機會認識了一個舞臺下和教室外的jerry。
坐在對面的jerry雖然身着正裝，帶了副斯文的眼鏡，卻絲毫掩飾不了爍爍發光的眼神裏透出的一種“新鮮氣質”。怎麼說呢，那是一種靈氣。採訪當然是用中文進行的（如果用英文估計我聽懂的也就80%）。jerry的國語、英語、甚至連他自己一說都笑得不行的東北土話都說得相當“正宗”。這真是一個語言天才！我想。
我不是一個語言天才
“我其實不是一個語言天才。”jerry坐下來說的第一句話就把我的想法給否決了。
jerry來加拿大才六年多，年少成長的一大段日子都在中國，接受的是典型的中國式敎育。所學的英語大部分只是死記硬背的單詞和應試技巧。到了這個陌生的國度，他自己講的英語別人聽不懂，而別人的話他也是一知半解，他感覺好像突然與外界有了隔閡。
儘管在出國前有着雄心壯志，jerry卻因爲不能與人溝通，渾身縱有使不完的力氣也無濟於事。於是，他下定決心苦攻英語。“語言根本不是靠天賦的！”jerry又說，“學英語的過程其實是一個自我挑戰的艱辛歷程。”
當初他並不知從何入手。爲了練英語，他想方設法去找當地人聊天，試來試去結果是碰一鼻子灰。他總是先在腦子裏用中文想好要說的話，再找到相應的英文單詞，然後用所學的語法去套出要講的英文句子。如此下來，說出去的'句子結結巴巴，常常他還沒說完，對方早把話搶了過去，語速飛快地又丟過來一大堆話。這樣的話他當然聽不明白，而“pardon”多了也不是辦法，結果對方早已失去了交談的興趣，而他自己也信心盡失。
但他不是輕易放棄的人。jerry想，不如試試退回來“閉門造車”練英語。自從有了這種“頓悟”，他開始把自己當作一個牙牙學語的孩子，完全用耳朵去感受純正的發音，去捕捉一個個單詞的開音合音、脣音齒音，去熟悉一個個句子的抑揚頓挫。
jerry說，在開始的大半年裏，他發癡似地尋找英語中每一個準確的發音部位，然後一遍遍地模仿。有時爲了一個單詞的準確發音，要練上一千多遍。他說，這真是個很痛苦的過程。
這期間，他做了很多旁人認爲是“crazy”的事情，比如：刻意只看英文電視報紙，不交中國朋友，把電腦裝成英文系統，甚至把自己關在房間裏大聲跟電視主持人練發音等。jerry說，這樣做了一段時間的確有了成效，而不只有他可以做到這些事情，任何人都可以，但是有個前提條件，就是：“onlyifyoureallywantto!”

如果我們有勇氣去追求，夢想就會實現。我年輕的時候，我父親總是問我未來會怎樣。有時我發現很難給予某個回答。"我想當醫生。""我想當老師。"和"我我想成爲一名科學家！"這些答案中有許多可能非常幼稚荒謬。但我從來不認爲他們離得很遠。
時間過得真快！誰能給自己的未來下一個定義？我知道顯然，那些高樓是建立在堅實的基礎上的.。作爲學生，我應該有一個合理的目標，努力學習。我的目標是進入最好的中學畢業後大學深造。我知道這很難，我會遇到許多困難和挫折。但是不管它們是什麼，我會繼續努力，永不放棄。我的老師說只有一個那種真正成功的人：那些勇於承擔的人帶着艱辛。即使我達不到目標，我也不後悔我所做的。
我做到了，因爲我已經爲我的生活奮鬥了。
